Key Responsibilities:

• Manage costing, budgeting, and forecasting for production and engineering projects
• Analyse manufacturing and operational costs to improve profitability and process efficiency
• Prepare and maintain standard cost models and conduct variance analysis
• Collaborate with project, procurement, and operations teams to support financial decision-making
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting, reconciliations, and analysis
• Maintain strong inventory and cost control systems, ensuring alignment with accounting standards
• Support audits, compliance, and internal control processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom or National Diploma in Accounting / Finance - essential
• 3-5 years' experience as a Cost and/or Management Accountant within manufacturing or engineering
• Proven tenure and stability in previous roles - long-term commitment valued
• Strong analytical and costing skills with attention to detail
• Exposure to SAGE preferred; Syspro advantageous
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Methodical, reliable, and able to thrive in a high-performance technical environment
