Cost Accounting Trainee

Perfect for a recent grad who loves numbers, Excel, and understanding where the money actually goes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with cost tracking, allocation, and reporting
Support inventory valuation, stock counts & reconciliations
Help with variance analysis (actual vs budget/standard costs)
Capture and maintain cost data in ERP/accounting systems
Support procurement, logistics, and production cost analysis
Use Excel, BI tools, and basic AI/analytics for reporting
Maintain accurate records and support audits & compliance
Requirements (non-negotiables):
BTech or BCom in Supply Chain, Cost Management, Finance, or similar
Basic understanding of cost & management accounting
Strong Excel skills (formulas, analysis)
Exposure to AI, analytics, or automation tools
Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
Nice-to-haves:
ERP exposure (SAP, Sage, Oracle, etc.)
Inventory costing methods (FIFO, weighted average, standard)
Internship / WIL experience
Power BI exposure
