Corrosion Engineer

Good day we are looking for Corrosion Engineer to work for our client based in Saudi Arabia

Requirements

Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical, Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Education, Design, Physics, Computer Science
10 years of experience with a focus in the Refining & petrochemicals business.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for further action
Reviewing material safety data sheets (MSDS) to ensure that all relevant information about chemical hazards is included in the labxe2x80x99s procedures
Maintaining facilities and equipment to prevent corrosion from occurring
Testing new materials to determine their susceptibility to corrosion
Investigating corrosion that has already occurred in order to determine the cause of the corrosion
Conducting scientific studies on different methods of preventing corrosion
Developing corrosion-resistant materials, such as paints or coatings
Conducting laboratory tests on metals and other materials to predict how they will react to specific environments over time
Designing new processes that use less corrosive chemicals or fewer corrosive chemicals in order to improve safety
