My client, a respected principal investment firm in Cape Town, is looking for a Private Equity Associate to join their high-performing team of financial professionals.Job & Company DescriptionThe company has three main strategies, which include mid-market private equity, real estate and metals and mining. As an Associate, you will be responsible for financial modelling and analysis, company and industry research, examining business trends, portfolio management, idea generation, and presenting investment proposals to senior investment professionals.Job experience & skills required
- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or any other financial qualification
- CFA qualification would be highly beneficial
- A minimum of 2-4 yearsxe2x80x99 post-qualifying experience in investment banking or private equity within the Principal Investments, Leverage Finance or Corporate Finance divisions
- Experience in origination, portfolio management, deal evaluation and execution.
- Robust valuations, analysis, and modelling skills
