Corporate Actions Specialist (Gauteng)
Compensation: R300K - R600K per annum

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about market operations? A leading player in the financial services sector is seeking a Corporate Actions Analyst to join their dynamic operations team.
This role is essential in ensuring accurate processing and management of market-related events that impact investor holdings, including dividend distributions, IPOs, and other corporate actions initiated by listed entities.
Your key responsibilities:

• Monitor, interpret, and process corporate action notifications from listed companies and issuers.
• Execute and reconcile all corporate events and cash distributions accurately and on time.
• Liaise with local CSDPs and international brokers to ensure seamless execution.
• Prepare and distribute key investor communications (e.g., LDTs, letters of representation, proxy votes).
• Investigate and resolve corporate action discrepancies or queries efficiently.
• Facilitate shareholder participation in IPOs and private placements.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on shareholder positions and event outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate corporate action workflows for scalability and accuracy

Our required expertise:

• A qualification in Finance, Investments, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in corporate actions, settlements, or securities operations.
• Strate Corporate Actions and/or Settlements course completion is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
