Job Summary MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS xefx82xb7 Translation of Client product requirements into Supplier Equipment specification and sizing. xefx82xb7 Development of system layout including material flows, equipment utilization, conveying and Mining equipment design. xefx82xb7 Perform conveyor design calculations using Sidewinder or similar packages. xefx82xb7 Development of Mining system design criteria and technical specifications. xefx82xb7 Develop data sheets and scope description to support the procurement of equipment. xefx82xb7 Review Bought out Equipment drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with specification requirements. xefx82xb7 Effectively communicate with the draughtsman to ensure conveyor profiles are drawn as designed / intended. xefx82xb7 Perform other related duties as assigned by the Company. xefx82xb7 Accredited year degree or B.Tech / Eng in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of Mining equipment experience and experience with overall Mining system design. Design of in plant conveyors is essential. xefx82xb7 Registered with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer or Candidate Professional Engineer, will be an advantage. xefx82xb7 Ability to communicate effectively with team that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors and subcontractors. xefx82xb7 Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job xefx82xb7 Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner. xefx82xb7 Computer literate in the MS Office Suite. xefx82xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills. xefx82xb7 Planning and organizing skills. xefx82xb7 Customer service orientated. xefx82xb7 Problem solving and decision making skills. xefx82xb7 Inter personal skills.
