Job Description
We're Hiring: Conventional Turner - Boksburg, Gauteng
We specialize in the manufacture and repair of hydraulic cylinders and associated equipment, based in Anderbolt, Boksburg.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Conventional Turner with a solid background in precision machining.
Requirements:
5+ years' experience operating and setting up manual/conventional lathes
Experience in Hydraulic Cylinder Engineering advantageous
Ability and experience working on larger lathes a necessity (Above 500mm swing over saddle and overall length greater than 2,5m)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong understanding of fits and tolerances
Skilled in tool preparation, machine calibration, and maintenance
Familiarity with a variety of input materials - EN8, ST52, EN19, EN24 and CK4140
Must have own transport and be willing to work overtime when required
Commitment to workplace safety and quality
