Your responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:
Execution of the C&I scope on EPC and EPCM projects. Work with minimal supervision in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Adhere to the project schedule and allocated budget. Liaise with other engineering disciplines and other support departments to ensure alignment between all parties. Liaise with clients and vendors to ensure alignment with all parties. Develop communication design for control systems and data networks. Develop the control system design for the project including control narratives and supporting documents for the control and shutdown systems.
Your profile

The candidate must be in possession of a BSc / B.Eng. Electrical/ Electronic Engineering degree and be registered as a professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
The candidate must be experienced in the following fields:
At least 6 years specific C&I design experience with min 4 years in the Oil & Gas environment. Knowledge of and understanding of SABS / IEC standards
Required Skills
Good communication skills Strong client liaison skills Design experience in the following fields: Smartplant instrumentation Wiring and loop design. Selection of instrument technologies.
