Responsibilities:

• Programming and Configuration:

• Develop and implement PLC, DCS, and SCADA programs using Siemens TIA Portal (Step 7), Siemens DCS PCS7, Rockwell, and Schneider platforms.
• Create and modify control logic, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to project requirements.
• Configure and fine-tune control algorithms to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Design and Documentation:

• Utilize E-Plan and AutoCAD software to design and layout control and instrumentation systems.
• Create detailed technical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Testing and Troubleshooting:

• Conduct thorough testing of control systems to validate functionality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and communication networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and address system anomalies.
• Project Management:

• Participate in project planning, defining milestones, and estimating resources required.
• Assist in project execution, ensuring deliverables are completed within specified timelines.
• Provide technical support to project managers and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency, safety, and performance of control systems.
• Recommend and implement improvements to existing systems through technological advancements and best practices.
• Training and Support:

• Provide training to maintenance and operational teams on the proper use and maintenance of control systems.
• Offer technical support during installation, commissioning, and startup phases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BEng) in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Strong programming experience with Siemens TIA Portal (Step 7), Siemens DCS PCS7, Rockwell, and Schneider systems.
• Proficiency in E-Plan and AutoCAD for control system design.
• Knowledge of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, industrial protocols, and communication networks.
• Solid understanding of control theory, instrumentation principles, and process automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, process, or automation industry is a plus.
