With a focus on ultra-fine mineral recovery, they excel in Projects and Engineering services, Operations Management, and Process Equipment. Currently, they are seeking a Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Work with control systems and industrial software to assist in control systems within mineral processing plants in the mining industry.
• Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting and wiring.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Testing and commissioning as well as maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with various disciplines in the project environment while primarily focusing on the production environment.
• Possess knowledge of software programming relevant to the mining industry.
• Read instrumentation drawings accurately.
• Identify and rectify faults in instrumentation and PLC equipment.

Additional Qualities:

• Excellent technical skills in control and instrumentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional planning abilities.
• Self-motivated with a mindset focused on completing tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in reporting and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience in coal processing plants will be an advantage.
• Able to perform software installations on computer systems.

Education & Qualification:

• 2-5 years of experience in the mining industry with a technical background in instrumentation.
• In-depth knowledge in electrical, control and instrumentation systems
• Engineering Qualification - Trade Test/Diploma/BTech in Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechatronic/Electronic qualifications in the technical field.
