Objective of the position
Responsible to represent the interests of BSH towards customers
Reach at least defined targets under consideration of resources
Promote & sell products
Developing and implementing effective sales strategies
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
Minimum Requirements
Marketing/sales qualification preferred
At least 3-5 years of sales experience in the retail sales/project business space with a successful performance record
Working knowledge of the Premium/Luxury segment of the appliance industry and how it integrates with the builder distributors and home building industry.
History of overcoming internal and trade customer obstacles and competitive actions.
Job Profile Summary
Contract Sales Channel Business Development and Management
Work closely with the national contracts sales manager to implement a strategy for the Contracts division.
Actively promote best practice throughout the company; including general management of the sales channel, setting budgets, minimising risks, maximising opportunities, achieving targets; and seeking to positively influence the progression and growth of the sales channel.
Management and coordination of all customer related sales activities within sales channel of the Cape Region to achieve targets.
Liaise with BSH Finance, Legal, HR, HS&E and management to ensure compliance with company policies/legal.
Participate in the preparation of operating budgets for contracts sales and marketing.
Participate in monthly stock forecast and planning meetings
Liaise with technical, marketing and supply functions to support goals.
Working closely with the sales manager to negotiate contracts and service level agreements with suppliers and distributors in the sales channel.
Address and implement corrective action plans to solve problems.
Contract Sales Channel
Review products, and programs with new builders, design centers and interior designers as the market requires.
Provide competitive market intelligence feedback to the National Sales Director/ Manager/ Company.
Identify business opportunities and work to develop business relationships and close contracts.
Maintain an up-to-date sales call plan with objectives and document all communications and committed to action plans.
Participates in regular builder/ real estate tracking meetings.
Has total working knowledge of all marketing support materials and how they can be best utilized
Become an active member of local industry associations and attend meetings and joins selective committees in the region.
Participates in regional or national trade shows.
Communicates product /forecasting needs to sales planning/ supply chain management.
Product training expert on home appliances and home automation
Responsible to direct, co-ordinate and oversee quote/pricing practices for the contracts sales channel

Drive / support acquisition of new customers which fit to BSH sales strategy
