Job Purpose
The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide overall administrative and contract management support and assist the Manager Contracts Management: Economic Hub to maintain an efficient and effective contracts management function.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Accounting/Commercial Law/Contract Law/Built environment or similar field; A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in contract/service level agreement administration/compliance monitoring/finance/commercial/built environment/property sector or legal environment; 3 years supervisory level experience; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Key Performance Areas
Provide administrative and contract support to the Contracts Management (Economic Hub Directorate); Implement measures to monitor that the contractually defined performance standards are being achieved; Assist and monitor compliance on any proposed variations or amendments to the contract agreements is communicated and executed; Implement measures to aid the identification of project risks and means to manage these risks.

Remuneration
R 397 116 - R 467 790 per annum (Salary level 8)
Note on remuneration in addition to service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
Notes
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation granting permission for verification of qualifications, criminal record vetting and reference checks. These candidates will be required to complete a practical assessment and attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments/proficiency tests. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
