Job Description

Purpose



The role supports management by ensuring timely reconciliation of all accounts receivable and payable related to external contractors for Macadams and Marsden sales. The Contract Accountant is responsible for overseeing the centralised invoicing department and coordinating with the Call Centre and contractors when required.

Key Performance Areas



Responsible for full function of centralized invoicing department Reconciliation of Accounts Payable and Receivable Administration of new and review contracts Liaising with PRAGMA Staff Management

Responsibilities



Invoicing



Reconcile all portals to on key (Broll/CBRE) International Query List Variance Query List Review Invoicing function

Accounts Payable



Technician Reconciliation Statements Reconciliation review of Transport, Commissioning, Installation and Credit notes Workshop orders to be open - investigated

Accounts Receivable



Debtors review and understanding of contractor outstanding debt Review all reports from debtor's vs creditor payment list Liaise with the customer department for maintenance ex. Boxer Reconcile all portals at month end

General



Queries from all the contractors Work closely with Pragma Policies review for Contractors (Technicians, Contra etc.) Warranty process review and streamlining New contract validation procedures Standard Operating Procedures for Contractors/Macadams Maintenanc

Performance Management



KPI measurement aligned to invoice processing and accuracy Allocation and delegation of account responsibilities Effective balancing and prioritisation of workflow

Experience



5-year+ related experience in manufacturing environment/FMCC/BPO Knowledge of an ERP system [SYSPRO or similar] Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Email and Power point) Ability to comply with standards, rules, and regulations; apply internal controls; interpret and evaluate results; prepare documentation; and create and present management reports. Strong Supervisory Skills Extensive engagement both telephonically and in person with internal and external clients Ability to work in high transactional environment

Qualification



Grade 12 BCom Management or CIMA Level 2
