Job Description


An exciting new opportunity has become available at Ackermans. Content Managers purpose is to provide art direction of creative communications for all digital channels xe2x80x93 including managing the Graphic Designer to execute artwork; produce copy for all digital requirements, including SEO, website content, social media posts, paid digital media elements, Direct Marketing elements and blogs; ensure the consistent look, feel & messaging of communications across all digital channels.
Qualifications

Required:

  • National Diploma in Marketing Management or similar
Preferred:
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing Management, Communications, Journalism, English or related
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Knowledge required:
  • Technical knowledge of MS Office and Magento
  • Solid knowledge of web design
  • Solid knowledge of Social Media and creative principals (80/20 rule)
Skills required:
  • Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the company's brand identity
  • Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement
  • Excellent communication skills with a good command of the English language
  • Strong skills in creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets company objective
  • Familiar with Magento and Adobe Acrobat/Illustrator skills, PhotoShop and InDesign
  • Strong creative directing skills
Experience required:
  • 3-4 yearsxe2x80x99 agency experience in a similar role
  • At least 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Copywriter with a strong SEO focus
  • Proven track record of SEO copywriting is a requisite
  • Experience in working with content management systems (i.e. Magento, Wordpress, Shopify)
  • Experience with social engagement strategies and best practices
  • Extensive experience in new media editorial experience or similar
  • Proven track record of leading content marketing campaigns
Preferred:
  • Experience in managing a team
Key Responsibilities

Strategy
  • Provide input into the creative plan
  • Ensure execution of strategy
  • Ensure that there is a synchronised 360 content strategy across all channels for campaigns
Communication Plan
  • Manage delivery, updates & presentation of CI seasonal plan
  • Develop & manage effective process of design deliverables for Graphic Designer from brief to approval
Processes Management
  • Management of the process from brief to final approval of creative
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing process from end-to-end
  • Optimisation (automation) of website uploads
Reporting

Compilation, analysis, interpretation of the following:
  • Management report
  • Post Campaign analysis
  • Brand Review
  • Competitor report
  • Identification and proposals to address issues and opportunities identified
Management
  • People management
  • Expense management
  • Stakeholder management
