MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To create content for various digital platforms within Mediclinic and ER24

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Research, create, produce and edit written content across all internal and external platforms including social media for Mediclinic and ER24 platforms targeting both internal and external audiences
• Conceptualise and suggest news ways to build and promote brand awareness for Mediclinic and ER24
• Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives and coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate content
• Support social media team for various social media and digital publications within Mediclinic and ER24

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

• Diploma in Journalism/ Communication/ Copywriting

DESIRED EDUCATION

• Degree in Journalism/ Communication/ English/ Copywriting

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• 3-years' experience in digital and/ or writing/ content creation

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Content Creator
• Digital Writing

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and industry publishing software
• Editing and proofing skills for various audiences
• Content production - knowledge of digital publishing platforms
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of writing, grammar, syntax, style, and punctuation
• Writing skills
• Local and international web trends and best practices
• Networking skills (internal and external)
• Storytelling (verbal/written), copy writing and grammatical skills
