Key Duties & Responsibilities
Product Research & Development
Research, investigate and propose new products, brands and technologies to Nology's new product committee.
Attend trade shows and exhibitions as required and/or agreed
Have a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape
Identify complementary products and services
Design and implement business strategy to ensure continued revenue and profitability
Product Management
Inventory management - stock levels, forecasting and ordering
Stock price management
Create marketing and promotion plans
Manage and administer new product on-boarding from start to end
Manage and oversee the decommissioning of end-of-life products
Product Training
Plan, schedule and present ongoing internal product training
Plan, schedule and present external product training for customers
Manage internal certification requirements in line with vendor requirements
Host webinars for product launches and training sessions
Vendor Management
Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
Supplier contract, contract renewal and target negotiations
Hosting suppliers when they visit South Africa
Price negotiation
Compile and submit reports as and when required by the supplier(s)
Manage and submit Supplier rebate claims
Deal and project registrations
Channel and Account Management
Manage existing key customer accounts within the existing channels and build relationships with key contacts.
Identify and develop new potential channels, customers and business.
Arrange periodic meetings with relevant decision makers within your assigned customer base.
Have a clear understanding of your customers, their business and their needs/requirements including opportunities.
Grow our product portfolio within assigned accounts.
Propose and manage marketing and promotion initiatives with customers.
Monitor incoming orders for assigned accounts.
Ensure good CRM record keeping and hygiene.
Administration & Reports
Prepare and submit periodic product and customer sales and analysis reports
Prepare and submit periodic competitor analysis reports.
Present quarterly business reviews (QBR) to management and/or suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
Matric/Grade 12
Sales related degree or diploma will be

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet.
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
Product Management experience.
Understanding the Customers' requirements.
Product lifecycle management
Pricing and Price list compilation
Competitor Analysis
Sales planning and forecasting
Inventory control and forecasting
Maintain and build good Vendor relationships
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Required knowledge and experience required
Experience in the IT distribution channel.
Must be able to work well under pressure.

Working hours 8h00 to 17h00, Monday to Friday.

This is a permanent position, subject to a three-month probation period.
