About the Position
SARS is looking for a Consultant: Health & Wellness that also has experience as a Human Resources Business Partner. The Consultant: Health & Wellness plays a pivotal role in promoting a culture of wellbeing across the organisation. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating health and wellness programmes that support employee engagement, productivity, and overall organisational performance. The successful candidate will collaborate with HR and business units to identify wellness needs, drive initiatives aligned with organisational goals and ensure compliance with relevant health policies and standards. This role requires a proactive and compassionate professional with strong communication skills, programme management experience, and a passion for fostering a healthy workplace environment.
Job Purpose
Implement and evaluate the Wellness Programme which is work-site based, assist in the identification and resolution of productivity problems associated with SARS employees.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree / Advanced Diploma in Social work / Honours in Psychology/Human Resources Management & Development and 3-5 years' experience in the EAP and Wellness environment and Human Resource Business Partnering of which 2 - 3 years at technically skilled level.
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
Senior Certificate (NQF 4) with 10 years' experience in an EAP and Wellness environment, and Human Resource Business Partnering of which 2 - 3 years at a technically skilled level.
