Minimum Requirements

Matric and relevant Surveying Diploma/Qualification.
7+ years site-based civil construction surveying experience (roads, pipeworks & earthworks).
Strong working knowledge of Model Maker software for data processing & modelling.
Proficiency in using total stations, data loggers, theodolites, dumpy levels & lasers.
Solid understanding of construction methods, tolerances & sequencing for civils projects.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

Carry out pipe surveys using lasers, theodolites, and related instruments for accurate underground service layouts.
Perform road & tachometric surveys ensuring precise setting out and control of works.
Conduct earthworks surveys to monitor progress and maintain accuracy.
Manage document & plan control, ensuring construction aligns with the latest specifications.
Measure & record quantities for monthly certificates.
Mentor and supervise junior surveyors and site teams.
Ensure the proper care and maintenance of all surveying instruments.
Exceptional accuracy & attention to detail.
Strong mathematical and analytical ability.
Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings.
Proficient in survey modelling software.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
Excellent communication & teamwork abilities.
Committed to site safety and quality standards.
