Supervise and manage on-site construction activities and labour
Allocate teams as per weekly work plans
Enforce discipline and ensure compliance with working hours
Manage resources for optimal productivity
Interpret and organize construction drawings and specifications
Oversee construction to ensure adherence to plans and quality standards
Ensure work and materials meet specified standards
Identify and requisition necessary materials and equipment
Monitor proper usage of small plant and tools
Report any equipment downtime and mechanical issues
Enforce health and safety rules on-site for all personnel
Maintain site cleanliness and organization
Report consistently on company procedures and policies
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience in general construction (concrete, brickwork, finishing)
Strong knowledge of construction equipment and techniques
Matric (Grade 12)
Fluent in English
Medically fit
Proven ability to manage site labour and sub-teams
