Job Description

A Site-Based Contract Manager oversees project contracts on-site, managing site progress and operations, negotiations, execution, and compliance from start to finish, acting as the main liaison for clients, vendors, and project teams to ensure work aligns with legal terms, budgets, timelines, safety standards (OHS/Quality), and company goals, resolving disputes, and handling all contract lifecycle stages like renewals and close-outs.

Key Responsibilities:



Contract Lifecycle:

Draft, review, negotiate, execute, and manage contracts (Scope of Work, terms), from inception to completion.

Stakeholder Liaison:

Serve as the primary contact for clients, professional team, subcontractors, and internal teams, communicating contract status.

Compliance & Risk:

Ensure adherence to project requirements, OHS, quality standards, and legal regulations; identify and mitigate risks.

Project Oversight:

Monitor project progress, costs, and performance against contract terms.

Problem Resolution:

Address and resolve contract-related issues and disputes swiftly.

Documentation:

Maintain meticulous records and reports for all contract activities.

What Makes it "Site-Based":



Works directly on the project site (e.g., construction, engineering). Manages operational aspects alongside contractual ones. Ensures physical project delivery meets contract specifications. Creating and manage project programme. MS Projects experience will be advantageous.
