Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Kathu
Job Type: 12 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:
To manage Construction Supervisors for a project or area within a project, controlling all contractor activities via a Multi-Disciplinary team for the construction execution of the project on site. Interfacing to the relevant Engineering, SHE, Procurement, Risk and Project Management functions as required and according to the relevant PEP and Procedures.
Contractor management tasks include:
o Ensure well-coordinated construction implementation using integration meetings, scheduling and commercial conditions of contract. With a strong focus on LTIFR and TRIR.
o Excellent Engineering team liaison to reduce technical queries.
o Close out procedure driven from day one.
o Engineering Integrity sign offs Follow the PEP chapter.
o Ensuring contractor schedules are received frequently and with the correct detail to monitor progress.
o Interfacing with the Contracts manager to generate the relevant commercial letter.
o Follow the PEP chapter.
o Continuous review of the construction schedule to ensure the correct construction sequence.
o Review of contractor equipment placement for smooth flowing construction.
o Redline Drawings are managed and correctly marked up and verified.
Required Qualifications:
Degree or certification in Construction Management
Driver's License: Code B (Light Vehicle)
Experience:
10 years of experience as a construction manager
Construction management
Health and Safety management (Mine Health and Safety Act.)
