CSV is currently seeking to add an experienced SACPMCP Registered Construction Health and Safety Officer to its team of professionals for a 18 month project near Victoria West (Northern Cape). The Construction Health and Safety Officer (SACPMCP) will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on construction site, conducting risk assessments and providing training to employees. The Construction Health & Safety Officer (SACPMCP) will also conduct incident investigations, prepare reports and liaise with external stakeholders on health and safety matters. To apply for this position, you will require:
Contract length: 18 months License/Certification:
- Relevant qualifications, degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
- Valid SACPMCP registration as a Construction Health and Safety Officer
- Demonstrated experience in health & safety in a construction / civil engineering or related industry
- Excellent knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, codes of practice and standards
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Contract length: 18 months License/Certification:
- CHSO Registration with SACPMCP (Required)
