Job Description
Cadcon (Pty) Ltd is a Steel Construction company based in Lyttelton, Pretoria.
We are looking for an experienced Construction Health & Safety Officer to assist the HSE Manager maintain our Health & Safety System at our premises and to assist with Safety Requirements at various project sites where required.
Applicants require the below credentials:
Computer Literate (Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the Construction Industry
Registered at SACPCMP as CHSO
Incident / Accident Investigation Training
Risk Assessor Training
HIRA Risk Assessment Training
SHEQ Management / SAMTRAC / NDIP Safety Management
Excellent Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act
Excellent Knowledge of compiling Project Safety Files for construction sites
Ability to conduct audits on Sub-contractor Safety Files
Legal Liability Training
Fall Protection / Rescue Planner Training
Own Vehicle Essential
Travelling to various sites required as and when needed
No Criminal Record
Contract length: 3 months - 6 months (probation)
Job Type: Full-time
Interviews will be conducted in person.
Candidates must reliably commute to and from our premises in Lyttelton.
Must stay in Gauteng, preferably in the Pretoria to Midrand area.
