Position: Consolidations Manager
Location: Johannesburg West, Gauteng
Salary: R 900 000.00 to R 1 000 000.00 per annum

Company and :
A leading supplier of construction-related materials, specializing in the production of Cement, Aggregate and Readymix Concrete, is looking for a Consolidations Manager to join their formidable team. The ideal candidate must have a stable employment record with 7 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Group Financial Consolidations, including 3+ years management experience.

Responsibilities:

• Providing accurate and timely financial information to both group internal and external stakeholders monthly and annually as required
• Preparing annual financial statements including consolidated statements and accounts preparation for approval by the Company, Holding Company and its subsidiaries, complying to international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Continuous improvement of reporting standards, implementation of new standards in terms of IFRS and the development of control systems
• Compiling consolidated reports and preparation of the consolidated budget and forecasts
• Assisting with and compiling budgets and forecasts for SSC cost centres
• Ensuring statutory compliance to IFRS, IAS, Companies Act and financial Legislation
• Supporting the group with expert financial skills to achieve business objectives
• Providing the appropriate advice and consultation to ensure that sound financial practices are implemented
• Performing consolidations of Group accounts (including the balancing and confirmation of individual companies in the Group that contribute towards the Group data)
• Preparing financial accountants and management reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Collecting budget input and analysing this to ensure that all relevant actions were completed in accordance with the budgetary guidelines
• Preparing a complete set of consolidated financial statements (statement of financial position, statement of comprehensive income and statement of cash flows) for budgeting and forecasting purposes
• Maintaining sound relationships with role players and stakeholders internally and externally
• Fluent with SAP BPC reporting and providing BPC support to end users including validating information accuracy, compliance with reporting, training and procedures
• Managing direct reports to meet the defined objectives of the area
• Assisting sundry finance staff in implementing processes aimed at managing costs
• Managing the integrity of the general ledger and reporting requirements

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Registered CA(SA) non-negotiable
• 7 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Group Financial Consolidations including management experience (3-5 years)
• SAP BPC non-negotiable
• IFRS non-negotiable
