Job objectives/Principal accountabilities:

To provide Customers with a superior and reliable technical service offering. Support BMG Branch's and in so enhances value to the BMG brand with the aim of differentiating BMG from market competitors. Find remedy to technical challenges and in so partner BMG Branches in the promotion and sale of BMG products.

Condition monitoring data capturing. Oil sampling. Balancing. Alignment. Product sales & technical support. Perform predictive and corrective services such as: On site condition monitoring data capturing using vibration and shock pulse measurements. On site oil sampling. On site thermal imaging. On site laser alignment. On site rotor balancing. Extended working hours and overnight stays as required. Cross border travel and overnight stays as required. Assist the field service technicians with field work as required. On site data measuring in support of concluded condition monitoring service contracts with extended working hours and overnight stays as necessary. Establish working relationship with all branch personnel within geographic area.

Minimum Requirements:

N6 Mechanical. A valid trade will be an advantage but not a must. Must be able to get a valid medical clearance to work on mines, surface and underground. Must be able to pass the induction and access requirements of all major customers in the primary area of assignment. Computer literacy. MS Office Valid Driver's Licence 08. Medical clearance.
