Minimum requirement is an Engineering qualification or any technical equivalent thereof.
10 years' experience with at least 5 years' experience in a management role leading technical staff ideally in a FMCG sector.
Must have sound knowledge of current maintenance best practices, dairy processes, and manufacturing equipment.
Must be able to identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness, reduce overhead expenses and have a positive impact on the environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for capital projects, equipment availability, and plant facility maintenance in the concentrates department.
Routinely engage with the Engineering Manager to ensure that the concentrates department is compliant with site standards.
Must have the ability to lead a technical team, manage OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) as well as CMMIS (Computerised Maintenance Management Information System) and budget management.
Management and development of staff, ensuring the employees are engaged with company objectives and have the required skill sets to operate and maintain these facilities.
