MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Matric.
BRCGS or HACCP certification.
2-3 years packhouse compliance experience.
Knowledge of food safety auditing.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Proficient in computer and technology systems.
High attention to detail with strong analytical ability.
Effective leadership and emotional intelligence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Monitor and interpret regulatory, food safety, quality, and health & safety requirements.
Conduct internal audits, inspections, and compliance walkthroughs.
Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances, including root cause analysis.
Maintain accurate compliance documentation and reporting.
Coordinate pest control, environmental monitoring, glass control, HACCP, and food safety meetings.
Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and risk assessments are correctly implemented.
Analyse test results and provide timely feedback to management.
Support audit scheduling, communication, and reporting.
Ensure staff training on packhouse processes, standards, and regulations.
Manage consumables and perform stock control.
Perform additional duties as required, including off-season tasks.
