Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain and strengthen the compliance framework.
Investigate potential breaches and address compliance concerns proactively.
Oversee the end-to-end process of complaint handling, including review, registration, and resolution.
Ensure all compliance-related documents are accurately uploaded and securely maintained.
Resolve Fit and Proper status queries in line with regulatory expectations.
Regularly review and update compliance manuals, procedures, and supporting documentation.
Provide regulatory insights and suggest improvements to ensure ongoing alignment with the FAIS General Code of Conduct (GCOC).
Requirements
A BCom Law or LLB degree.
Registered FSCA Compliance Officer (Category I).
Possession of a valid RE 1 Certificate.
3-4 years of compliance experience within the financial services industry.
Strong working knowledge of FAIS, FICA, and other relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
Previous experience supporting or working with Financial Advisers or Financial Planners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
