About this opportunity

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to assist us on our journey to sustainable compliance program that would be fully embedded in Ericssonxe2x80x99s culture and ways of working. The Compliance Officer duties will focus on continuously enhancing our culture of integrity, promoting awareness and alignment in the organization, and advancing a psychologically healthy and safe work environment.

Compliance Office has the group responsibility for two substantive compliance areas:

  • Anti-corruption (compliance with corruption and bribery law); and
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
The position will report to the Head of Culture Awareness & GF Compliance who sits within the Compliance Office.

The Compliance Office within Group Function (GF) Legal Affairs & Compliance focuses on developing and maintaining Ericssonxe2x80x99s ethics and compliance program. The Compliance Office also supports compliance teams in the Market Areas or operational units, which are responsible for implementing and monitoring the execution of the ethics and compliance program in all operating units and legal entities within the countries of responsibility.

What you will do
  • Lead in developing a culture of compliance, setting an example for transparency and promoting an environment where speaking up is encouraged.
  • Contribute to advancing of our ethics and compliance program from the culture awareness perspective.
  • Work very closely with the People and M&C functions on implementation and promotion of the Hallmark 1 (Leadership & Culture) initiatives.
  • Facilitate regular exchange among all functions and local personnel that support our ethics and compliance program, including best practice sharing and internal benchmarking.
  • Assist with compliance trainings & communications at Group level.
  • Support Market Area/Business Area compliance teams on matters related to Hallmark 1.
  • Contribute to the development of compliance policies (and similar documents) and processes related to the scope of responsibilities.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership teams, the compliance organization and others, as needed.
  • Draft presentations and reports as required by the Head of Culture Awareness & GF Compliance.
  • Facilitate a healthy and safe work environment.
You will bring
  • High level of integrity with character consistent with Ericsson values of respect, professionalism, perseverance and integrity; must be empathetic and willing to listen
  • 8+ years in compliance, human resources, or other relevant field
  • University degree suitable for ethics & compliance work
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • International experience and cultural awareness
  • Excellent networking, social media and social skills, including the ability to expertly interact with internal and external contacts
  • Good business knowledge/understanding
  • Independent, goal-oriented and systematic way of working
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
