Newmark Hotels & Reserves is seeking a dynamic Communications Manager / PR Manager to lead public relations, corporate communications, and brand storytelling across our growing portfolio. We're looking for a natural storyteller and strategic thinker with strong media relationships and a passion for luxury travel. In this role, you will shape Newmark's external voice through PR strategy, press office management, thought-leadership development, and impactful media engagement. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-driven, highly organised, and thrives in a fast-paced, ideas-led environment.
Minimum Requirements
An undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, public relations, tourism, or a
related field. 3-5 years' experience in PR, communications, or media--ideally within luxury travel or hospitality--with a proven ability to secure consistent media coverage and manage end to-end press trips.
Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with a natural flair for compelling storytelling.
Highly organised, proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple projects seamlessly.
A confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior leaders, media professionals, and brand partners.
Strong project management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Agency experience is advantageous but not essential
Duties and Responsibilities
Managing Newmark's press office: cultivating strong, strategic relationships with journalists, editors, and key influencers across travel, lifestyle and hospitality media and leading Newmark's earned, owned, and paid PR, ensuring cohesive storytelling across channels and platforms.
Writing, editing, and distributing media releases, while proactively pitching compelling stories and supporting internal and external communications -- including fact-checking and supporting Newmark Life content.
Developing and executing press trips, ad-hoc hosted media stays, site visits and end-toend launch strategies for new properties, refurbishments and major group announcements.
Overseeing Newmark's corporate LinkedIn presence.
Managing PR reporting and analytics, delivering accurate monthly coverage summaries, AVE and reach insights and strategic recommendations.
Collaborating on SEO-driven content, blog development, brand partnerships and influencer campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and revenue objectives.
Supporting the group-wide PR strategy, including crisis communication, reputation management, and communication frameworks for new developments and openings.
* Supporting advertising and media buying, including researching and recommending relevant print and digital publications, negotiating partnership agreements and securing value-added opportunities to maximise visibility across paid and editorial touchpoints
