Job Description
What we expect from the candidate:
The ideal candidate should have practical sailing experience with at least 5 years of experience in commissioning and testing marine vessels. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment. You should also have strong leadership skills and be able to manage a team of technicians and engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation and administration of new and existing quality control checks and procedures from the start of construction to handover and completion.
- Oversee the commissioning process of catamarans, including testing and inspection.
- Ensure that the commissioning process is completed on time.
- Conduct sea trials and orientation training with clients.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are followed during the commissioning process.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that all products meet the required standards.
- At least 5 years of experience in commissioning and testing of marine vessels.
- Skippers license (minimum "Day Skipper" but preferably "Coastal Skipper" or "Yacht Master")
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
