Job Title Commission-Based Publisher Sales Representative - Non-Fiction Printed Books Company Overview: We are a dynamic and rapidly growing book distribution and publishing company specializing in Professional, Scholarly, Business, Arts and Crafts, Field Guides, Lifestyle, and Natural History Books. Our mission is to bring knowledge and inspiration to individuals and organizations who shop outside of traditional book retail spaces. As we expand our market presence, we are seeking a results-driven Commission-Based Sales Representative to join our team. Position Overview: As a Commission-Based Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling our diverse range of non-fiction printed books into Corporate, Specialist Retail, and Training Markets. This role encompasses identifying prospects, recruiting new clients, retaining long-term relationships, overcoming sales objections, closing deals, and meeting ambitious sales goals. Key Responsibilities: Identify and target potential clients in Corporate, Specialist Retail, and Training Markets. Recruit new clients and build lasting relationships. Overcome sales objections through effective communication and product knowledge. Close sales and consistently meet and exceed sales targets. Ensure strong overall sales performance within identified and predetermined markets. Qualifications: - Good listening skills and the ability to understand client needs. - Confidence, enthusiasm, and resilience in a sales-driven environment. - Adaptability to changing market conditions. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Outgoing and charismatic personality to establish rapport with clients.
