Commis Chef / Chef De Partie – Seasonal Function Venue – Stellenbosch Winelands

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef to join a dynamic team at a premier Stellenbosch function venue . The role involves preparing and executing menu items for events, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, and supporting the senior kitchen team. The position is seasonal, running from 2 January to end of April , with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Seasonal (Jan - April)

Salary:

R8,000 - R10,000 per month + overtime



Hours:

45 - 55 hours per week (overtime paid)



Key Responsibilities:



Assist in preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes for events and functions



Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards



Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment



Support senior kitchen staff and help with stock management
