Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and design of baked goods and lunch menus.
- Uphold our standards of quality in both baking and cooking, ensuring consistency and taste.
- Follow the guidance of senior chefs, rotating through kitchen stations to gain a well-rounded experience.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Measure ingredients, prepare mise en place, and ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Collaborate with the team to innovate and refine our menu offerings.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional experience.
- A passion for both baking and cooking, with a keen interest in developing skills in both areas.
- Ability to work under pressure, ensuring both speed and quality.
- Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
