Delecta - a fast growing producer owned exporter is marketing and supplying fresh fruit to leading international and local retailers and wholesalers. The following career opportunity became available in the Paarl Office.
COMMERCIAL KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
We invite a dynamic and experienced candidate with good knowledge of managing fruit export programmes to apply for this position. The incumbent will report to the relevant Fruit Category Manager.
Direct responsibilities will include:
- support with compiling and management of the procurement-/marketing plan and strategy
- proactive driving and negotiating to ensure optimum results w.r.t. price, sales and service delivery to multiple international destinations
- effective communication and management of relationships with producers, suppliers, receivers, team members and colleagues
- diligent managing of information and relevant administration.
- applicable tertiary qualification
- proven commercial experience in the fruit industry
- technical product knowledge of fruit (will be advantageous)
- ability to execute multi-disciplinary activities promptly, effectively and accurately
- competent negotiator and communicator (verbally and written)
- strong computer skills i.e. MS Excel
