We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Commercial Fleet Mechanic to join our dynamic team.

Please note, only candidates with experience and exposure to a heavy vehicle and earth moving equipment with relevant experience to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Qualified diesel mechanic

with a recognized trade test

Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems common in road construction equipment, trucks and site vehicles.

Leadership & Management Skills:

Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.

Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, and other stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Safety Awareness:

Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Experience:

minimum 5 years experience, specifically MAN, Mercedes, demonstrated understanding of Hydraulics, PTO, basic auto electrical and Pneumatics preferably within the roads construction industry.

Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs
