My client is a a South African-based consumer goods company that operates in the Food and Beverage sector. Originated a century ago, the company has grown to become one of the largest and most recognized manufacturer and distributor of branded consumer products in South Africa and beyond.
The successful professional will report to the Head of Operations and Procurement and be responsible for deciding which products should be included in the category based market research and overall business goals. Setting competitive pricing for the products. Optimizing the mix of products within the category to cater different customer segments and preferences. Creating sales forecasts and managing budgets for the category within the African Region.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BEng - Industrial Engineering
- 5 years Procurement and Sourcing experience
