About the role We are looking for a Coach: HSE to ensure legal and shareholder compliance to HSE standards by assisting with the implementation of the HSE training plan through presenting and/or facilitating training, coaching and assessing performance against the required standards and maintaining accurate records. Reporting to the Senior Coach: HSE, you will:

• Present and facilitate training as per Rio Tinto and other statutory requirements.
• Train, mentor and test employees to achieve required levels of multi-skilled HSE competence.
• Carry out safety coaching to ensure that HSE standards and practices are maintained and improved.
• Participate in updating training material and maintain training records.
• Interact with operational leaders to resolve HSE training queries.
• Encourage a strong Zero Harm culture within the business through training.
• Deliver HSE training as per training schedule and Support employee compliance to HSE standards.
• Required to have good understanding of Rio Tinto HSE processes.

What youxe2x80x99ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent
• Assessor, Facilitator (Train the Trainer), National Certificate ODETD Level 4 (or Equivalent) Subject Matter, Moderator (Advantageous)/ SAMTRAC (Advantageous)
• Driverxe2x80x99s License
• 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in HSE Training
• Well-developed communication skills in English (written and verbal) and proficiency in isiZulu (Advantageous)
• Well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills
• Computer skills (MS Office) xe2x80x93 Intermediate
• SAP knowledge (Advantageous)
