Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. As a Welder, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate components according to design requirements. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards. Operate cranes and forklifts safely for material handling during the welding process. Execute pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and rigging tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.

Skills

Proven experience in construction site environments. Proficient in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and Stick welding techniques. Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for precision work. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience in fabrication processes including machining and soldering. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Knowledge of power tools and their safe operation. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Experience with press brake machines is a plus.
