Job Description
URGENT
Position: Turner -CNC and Conventional Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions with precision.
Select and utilize the appropriate tools, equipment, and machinery for Turning tasks..
Manage and operate CNC lathes effectively. (1m - 4m CRS)
Programming: Heidenhain, Siemens and Fanuk (Preference)
Operate conventional lathes, including 3m, 4m, and 8m machines
Monitor and inspect completed work to ensure high standards of accuracy and quality.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Red Seal qualified artisan.
Minimum 5-10 years of proven experience as a CNC Turner.
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
In-depth knowledge of machining processes.
Experience in manufacturing hydraulic components is an advantage.
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments for accuracy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to take on additional tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
Must have reliable transport and reside in the Vaal Triangle area.
