NOV Gqeberha is looking for a dedicated CNC Turner Apprentice to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in the trade of CNC Turning. The successful candidate will undergo structured on-the-job training and attend trade school, working towards passing the required trade tests and becoming a qualified CNC Turner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Must have passed Matric and demonstrate proficiency in foundational education. Participate in both theoretical and practical training as per the CNC Turner apprenticeship program. Gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training and complete required module assessments. Operate machining equipment in the Machine Shop and work toward high-quality output. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and shop documents accurately. Follow the weekly production schedule and identify any risks to meeting targets. Report any safety, quality, or productivity concerns through appropriate channels. Maintain clean and organized workspaces in line with 5S housekeeping standards. Accurately track and submit work hours using Kronos or other timekeeping systems. Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to resolving production challenges.

Qualifications:

Technical Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (Standard or Higher Grade) Additional trade-related subjects at Grade 12 level will be an advantage
