Cnc Programmer
Job Description
Our client, a leading manufacturer with an international client base, is seeking the expertise of a CNC programmer The successful incumbent will be responsible for programming on various CNC machinery. You will also take charge of the maintenance requirements on the machinery, as well as supervising, guiding and training of the machine operators. Further supervisory duties will include: ensuring production targets are met, stock control of tools & equipment, calibration on machinery, ensuring Quality standards are met, and continuous improvement, controlling and tracking of programmes.
Minimum NQF Level 4 qualification
Minimum of 3 years programming experience on 5-axis CNC machinery
Advanced understanding of MasterCam multi-axis functionalities.
Understanding and ability to read NC Code and machining Macros.
Advanced understanding of three-dimensional geometry.
Knowledge of machining directions.
Understanding surface properties and required finishes.
Working knowledge on Alphacam & MasterCam
