CNC Machinist



Duties:

Operating and setting of Siemens controlled Milling machines. Previous Siemens or Fanuc experience essential. Programming using Mastercam would be advantageous. Complete QC checks on parts throughout the shift. Maintain good housekeeping. Willing to work overtime and on weekends. Daily machine maintenance.

Good planning and organizing skills daily job planning, tools and equipment preparation and checking of information (correct drawing revision number, queries of any confusing information or instructions prior to machining). Attention to detail, meticulous and accurate. Decisiveness and ability to initiate action. Good understanding and adherence to principles, values, instructions and procedures. Ability to work effectively with people. Coping with pressures and setbacks. Must be able to do repetitive work without losing focus and making mistakes.
Job Qualification & Experience -

Preferred Requirements:

3-5 years of CNC Milling experience is a must. Knowledge Siemens operating systems. Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, especially tolerances and surface finishes. Own transport is a must. Willing to work long hours.
