Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Kubernetes & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance Kubernetes and cloud-based environments. This is a senior-level role focused on modern cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, and platform stability. You'll play a key part in enabling efficient DevOps practices, mentoring team members, and driving innovation through infrastructure-as-code and automation.
This is a hybrid position, with a mix of remote work and on-site collaboration at our EcoPark offices in Centurion.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes-based environments for high-availability, security, and scalability.
• Manage deployments using container orchestration platforms (e.g., OpenShift, Tanzu, AKS, EKS).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform) for provisioning cloud environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Open Lens.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards.
• Improve operational workflows through automation and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate infrastructure with application needs and security requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, container platforms, and infrastructure automation.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Linux system administration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
