Job Description

• Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, MS Azure, Huawei Cloud, Google Cloud).

• Manage and support Linux systems and Windows systems.

• Maintain and build scripts to manage the cloud infrastructure and server instances.

• Conduct short-term and long-term network architecture planning to meet current and expanding

business requirements.

• Troubleshoot router and switch connectivity.

• Provide top level network support within defined SLAs.

• Work with the Information Security and Software Development departments to design an operating

environment and data flow that is secure.

• Develop testing and implementation plans for projects with multiple moving parts.

• Actively participate in troubleshooting and RCA for security and INF events.

• Consistently provide high quality work in a deadline driven environment.

• Accountable for accomplishing tasks both independently and collaboratively.

• Experience working in cloud-native tools and services

• Experience infrastructure cost and capacity optimisation and management.

• Experience security management of public facing applications

• Professional experience and knowledge of the telecommunications industry preferred

• Ability to analyse and interpret complex problems or processes, identify, and understand issues and manage solutions

• Matric Certificate

• BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Industry

certifications preferred.

• 2+ years of network or network management experience in a technical networking role,

including but not limited to xe2x80x93 design, implementation, disaster recovery, network

security architecture and engineering.

• Ability to provide automation solutions using PowerShell, Python and JSON.

• Platform and OS experience: Linux, UNIX, Server 2003, Server 2008, Server 2012, Windows XP,

Windows 7, Windows 8, iOS.

• Good experience with WAN/LAN technologies, legacy protocols, and networking techniques.

• Experience with various networking components such as: Cisco equipment, NetApp, WebSense
