Were looking for

An extremely talented full stack engineer to help pioneer a completely new type of insurance globally.

Whats the role?

You will be responsible for:

• Much of what is being built is a world first, so expect a diverse range of tasks requiring development in different areas, including AWS, container orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform) and general infrastructure automation, maintenance and optimisation.
• More advanced infrastructure knowledge like blue green deploys and logging infrastructure are beneficial but not mandatory.

Who are you?

• You must have experience designing and building large and complex (yet maintainable) systems, websites and apps, and you should be able to do so in about one third of the time that most competent people think possible
• You have the following skills: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform (or similar declarative infrastructure as code tech), CICD pipelines, infrastructure automation, DR process setup and management, cost management and alerting, alerting and monitoring setup
• A large part of the build will be Greenfields work, so come prepared to work hard and challenge yourself
• Top-notch communication and management skills are essential.

• Tertiary Qualification BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or the equivalent. advantageous
• Experience: 9+ years
• Industry knowledge: Agile methodologies, Software development lifecycle, Systems analysis, Solution architecture, IT strategy, cloud infrastructure management
• Beneficial: Logging infrastructure setup and management, blue green deploys
