The Digital Transformation Adoption Manager is responsible for taking the data output from the Cloud Economics FinOps Business Analyst in the team and engaging with application owners to share the data analysis and encourage their adoption of the recommendations to drive further cost optimization in our Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform. When cascading the data reference points they will also be accountable for training application owners on where they can self serve the data analysis so they can take accountability for Azure Cost Optimization at the edge of the organization.

Setting the Scene

NTT has embarked on an ambitious project to consolidate all our Internal Applications into a single governed Cloud platform hosted in Microsoft Azure.

This journey requires the skills of an Adoption Manager who can ensure the platform that we are building is optimized through both a cost and sustainability lens.

Working closely with the Cloud Business Analyst they will take the recommendations to optimize our Cloud Spend and organize workshops with Application Owners to share the data to drive the recommended changes.

Being the main point of contact for application owners looking to optimize their environment they will also be responsible for training application owners to self serve the data sources available to them in real time so they take responsibility for managing their own Cloud Environment at the edge of our organization.

Along with Cost Optimization they will also be responsible for sharing the sustainability data insights gathered to further impact positively our carbon impact.

This position will be required to:

• Drive optimization and lower the cost of services through centralization, digitalization, optimization, and centralization
• Develop, implement, and manage the operational aspects of Microsoft Azure Cloud Optimization
• Provide governance and oversight to ensure that NTT is achieving client and financial management goals by providing quarterly and monthly business reviews and reporting on progress against strategic programmes and projects, as well as operational performance metrics
• Establish excellent working relationships with internal business stakeholders.

General Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• A good understanding of Microsoft Azure Cost Management
• Assertive in approach coupled with confidence in area of expertise and the ability to facilitate business conversations
• Strong collaboration skills (verbal and written) coupled with good questioning skills
• Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
• Strong relationship management and demonstrated collaborative skills in working with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent business awareness and solid analytical skills
• Sound financial management skill
• Commercial acumen preferable
• Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions
• Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate
• Ability to persuade, negotiate and influence key stakeholders
• Good conceptual insight and ability to think strategically
• Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business
• Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks
• Strong project management skills.

Qualification and Certifications Required:

• Problem Management methodology would be advantageous
• Project Management certification would be advantageous.

Required Experience:

• Demonstrated experience gained within a similar role
• Demonstrated experience in IT service delivery management for large multinational.
