The position is available for a
Clinical Psychologist
as part of the psychology group practice at Optima@RustenVrede, a private child/adolescent and adult psychiatric hospital, outside Stellenbosch.If you are interested, please send your CV and inquiries to Dr. Bester at

Candidate requirements:
Registered as a Clinical Psychologist at the HPCSA Professional Indemnity Insurance All supporting documents Bilingual (Afrikaans/English)
Recommendations
:Clinical experience working in an inpatient unit, seeing individual patients as well as running groups Clinical experience seeing couples and families. Clinical experience seeing adults, young children, adolescents, and their parents Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
Key Roles:
Work in child, adolescent, and adult in-patient units at Optima@RustenVrede See individual in-patients and manage treatment plans Psychological assessments and report writing Plan, design and run in-patient groups Plan and run couples and family therapy See adults, children and adolescents for behavioral interventions and/or therapy Work in a multi-disciplinary team See out-patients Give written feedback to referring healthcare professional Manage and book own appointments Accurate record keeping and billing Fulfil administrative tasks associated with clinical practice or any other task agreed upon by the practice.
Full-time Position: 40 hours a week (30 therapy hours a week)
