Job Description

An international client (based in Cape Town) is currently looking for Professional Nurses (PN) to work as Clinical Case Management Support with American clients (medical aids) in Cape Town in Western Cape. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

  • Please note the time zone difference of 7 hours and shift will be 13:00 - 22:00 (including 1 hour break) - Monday to Friday.
  • Transport will be provided (due to working hours) One way back home after shift - not to work
  • Work will be at the office in Cape Town CBD
  • Training will be provided
Requirements
  • Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse (PN)
  • Between 2 - 5 years clinical experience
  • BPO member-facing experience preferred (Contact Centre)
  • Basic knowledge of care management processes preferred
  • Excellent voice communication skills in English, with ability to engage in effective member dialogue through clear and effective verbal communication
  • Exceptional active listening, soft skills, and member-centric conversational skills demonstrating empathy and understanding through words and tone of voice
  • Proficiency with computer skills which includes ability to multitask and navigate through multiple systems simultaneously
  • Ability to take direction, prioritize, and effectively adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate, interact, and work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of staff and management teams
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills
  • Strong individual accountability and ownership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Available to work shift 13:00 - 22:00 (including 1 hour break) - Monday to Friday
  • Available for a 12 month fixed contract period
Key Outputs
Basic Function:
The Clinical Case Management Support provides support for the client's case management team per established client process and workflows. The scope of this role includes completing initial screening and case prep of members referred for case management services, performing telephonic member outreach and program enrollment, and assisting with care coordination for members as directed by the case manager.
Essential Functions:
  • Performs enhanced support functions for case management (CM) screening processes
  • Performs telephonic outreach to members and program enrollments
  • Provides ongoing task support for members enrolled in CM program
