The incumbent will provide a comprehensive administration function to ensure an efficient, organized, and coordinated activities of the Department of Nursing Science. The incumbent will provide a support system to all Department of Nursing Science staff members to ensure the smooth running of the department.

CLINICAL ADMINISTRATOR (3 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

  • A Diploma in Administrative Management (M+3) (e.g., Office Management, Office Administration, Public Administration etc.)
  • 3 yearsxe2x80x99 work experience in the Higher Education Sector as an Administrator
ADDED ADVANTAGES
  • Knowledge and experience of health sciences
  • Project Management, budgeting, finance, reporting, monitoring and evaluation skills.
  • ITS knowledge
  • Driverxe2x80x99s license
  • Advanced office language use (English)
  • Advanced ICT end-user skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide clinical academic and administrative support to the department (students, staff, and guests).
  • Provide effective clinical management of department examination, and graduation matters.
  • Make clinical travel arrangements for department members.
  • Organize and prepare agendas and minutes for all clinical staff in the department.
  • Provide secretariat for all departmental clinical meetings.
  • Contribute to the writing of the clinical departmental reports.
  • Administer clinical budget controls to support the department.
  • Provide Human Resource clinical administrative duties for the department.
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and policies.
